Measure your weight

My wife and i just did some shopping for our house. We bought a lot of kitchen stuff and a few chairs for our home office. We also bought a new scale. I have always been interested in scales. I think that it’s cool that such a little device can measure something that is important for most people in this world. My wife is currently on a diet. Let me say that her diet has been going on for around two decades. I have a theory, i think women are always on a diet. They are on the forever diet.

I like to measure my weight whenever i can. After i take a show i measure my weight. I even measure my weight after i take a pee. I measure my weight after i eat a big dinner too. I like to see the changes in my body weight. I like to see if i can gain or lose weight in a short amount of time.

Water tastes good

I just got back from the gym. Working out used to be an important part of my life. I loved the rush that it gave me. It really is a great way to relieve stress and treat your body right. When i was a child, i used to think that gatorade was the best drink for sporty people. I guess they have a great marketing team. But i later realized that the best thing to drink is water. You really can’t beat water. This is a drink that is tasteless, but oh so good. It hydrates you body and quenches your thirst like no other drink.

Flavored water is becoming pretty popular. I like drinks such as vitamin water, but it is filled with a lot of sugar. It can taste good, but it won’t really quench your thirst. If you are into working out, grab a bottle of water after you workout. It’s the best type of drink. Water tastes good!

Soda Soda Soda

I am addicted to soda pop. I can’t eat pizza or burgers unless i have a tall glass of cold soda to wash it down. Some of my friends have recommended to me that i try drinking iced tea instead. It doesn’t work for me. I need the carbonation. I like to burp after a good junk food meal.

Soda pop is really bad for you. It’s filled with sugar. It’s bad for a lot of reasons. Cola, for example get you all wired. Diet soda is still bad cause sweeteners are not that healthy either.

I need to find a way to slowly limit the amount of soda that i put into my body. I need to limit the junk food that i put in my mouth. It’s a hard addiction but i feel confident that i can get off soda. If you guys know of any good ways to kick the soda habit, please let me know. Thanks.

Smoking is bad

Wii Diet is about life and fitness. We like to try to cultivate a healthy life vibe around here. We think that life should be appreciated and lived to the fullest. Smoking has a very bad stigma attached to it. It really is bad for you, but why do most people single out smoking. Christians consider this to be a really great sin. But, for me, i think smoking is at par with gambling and drinking. I would even say that people who eat too much are just as bad as people who smoke. Things we do damage our body. People who work to hard and deal with a lot of stress are in danger as well. Even if you don’t smoke, if you stress too much, you could damage your body.

By no means am i advocating smoking. I’m just trying to open up a discussion about how we single out smoking. I can’t even watch a dvd without being reminded about how smoking kills. I guess the guys over at miramax had trouble with smoking in their family or something. We should try to be balanced with everything we do. It’s not just about smoking. Smoking isn’t the only bad thing.

golf

I have a lot of friends around me who love the game of golf. They say that it’s a true gentleman’s game. They say that it is a game of the mind. They say that it’s cool. I don’t buy it. I’ve played a few times out on the field and don’t really understand what the big deal is. I got hitting with my mates when i feel stressed. I guess i don’t fully appreciate the game because i’m not that good at it.

When i was younger, the game i loved was basketball. The first time i played it, i sucked. But for some reason, i loved the game. I thought it was cool. It became something that i practiced. I would be in my garage just dribbling the ball. I would always find time to play some hoops. That desire started from the moment i played basketball. I am thinking about getting golf lesson, but im not that thrilled about it. Maybe it’s because i am older now. I don’t have the childlike mentality. We will see how it goes. I wish i could go back to playing basketball.

All about food

Shelter and food are two of the basic necessities for life. This day and age, food has become more and more important. We don’t face starvation in the modern cities but we face an over abundance of food. We have so much food that most of us face issues with weight. We are getting fatter and lazier every day. We don’t need to move our bodies anymore and we eat way too much.

When i was younger, i was very active with sports. I played a lot of basketball and rode my bike everywhere. Now, i don’t ever touch my basketball nor do i ride my bike. I don’t even walk that much either. I just sit in front of the computer screen getting fatter and lazier by the min.

I know that i have to work out more, but before i work on that, i have to watch what i eat. I have to focus on not eating after 7pm. I have to drink a lot of water and eat a lot of veggies. I should try to avoid processed foods as well. It’s all about the food and you should really think about the type of food you put in your mouth.

Nintendo is planning to lauch a diet game

wii diet gameWith the popular wii sports making video game players sweat, Nintendo is finding a new niche for the gaming industry. If you’ve ever played wii sports you know that you really can burn a few calories by playing the video game. It’s an amazing idea but its true. I bought a wii for my mother in law and my nephew. Both love it equally. I have the wii at my condo and whenever a few friends come, we have a mini olympics at my house.

Nintedo also has the dance dance revolution game out now. Just as the nintendo ds change the way video games are used with the brain age series, nintendo wii will change the way calories are burned. Wii is to fitness what the ds is to brain. Huh?
